Order of the Red Rose - The Role of the Woman
In the era called "prehistory" from our contemporary Western civilization, many cults of Mother Earth, of female divinity, of fertility were born. A human genus formed by hunter-gatherers unconsciously united the rhythms of nature, the abundance of the gifts of the earth and the magic of birth and life with women and their reproductive power.
Further on, Egypt will broadly open the doors of consciousness, of the soul and of equilibrium, through the Couple, the sacred, and the harmony that emanated from this Alliance and supreme complementarity of the One and the other. Pharaohs were women in Egypt, who rose up to the state of divinity, but today there is very little insinuating that the Pharaoh played a very important role in this civilization as it really represented the God the Father-Mother on the land.
Let's ask ourselves an absurd question: Is God a man or a woman? Of course, most of us will consider the question stupid, since, of course, by definition (at least in Western societies) God is asexual.
Yet, if we think of God, the first image that comes to mind is that of a male character and in all languages we refer to Him with masculine pronouns: this is the fruit of centuries of "masculinization" of the divine, a masculation of sociological-cultural origin that has had its peak in the three monotheistic religions
The Bible begins with a cosmogonic story in which man and woman are created together, so as to argue a perfect symmetry and the same dignity.
But it is the second story of the creation that has had more luck, the one in which the woman, generated from man, betrays God and man, and brings sin into the world.
Even today, within the Catholic Church, women are absolutely excluded from hierarchical orders.
The Knights Templars, called custodians of the Holy Grail (Royal Blood), had a particular veneration for the Magdalene, for the Black Madonna, the latter assumed as protector of the Order, to whom they dedicated many of the great Gothic cathedrals, especially in the south of France, and they had a specific doctrine that bound them to femininity.
Red Rose considers the woman a SACRED and FUNDAMENTAL element within the ORDER
Unlike the old and exhausted doctrines of the past, the Red Rose opens the order to the WOMAN and BEGINS it to its doctrines.
